I don’t know whose idea this was, the snow, the snow in late February, but okay. I’ll take it. It’s been the prettiest soft fluffy snow, not the hard driving biting kind but the gentle parachuting descent of cottony fluffs. Wet cottony fluffs that make horrible slush, sure, but yeah.

Glad to have at least one decent snow this year.

Glad I’m not losing my mind

Maig (I feel her name should always be followed by an exclamation point like so: Maig! but sometimes it doesn’t really read well when I do that) and I were talking about this the other day, which helped me feel like I wasn’t crazy, but now I’ve found honest proof.

Oh, I forgot to mention that this’ll be boring for those of you that don’t live on Flickr like I do.

Anyway, there IS a bug regarding your contacts’ pictures not appearing in a timely fashion. For example, I just now had some photos from Stacie appear in the ‘here’re some photos your contacts just uploaded’ section. When I looked at them they had comments already – comments from four hours ago. They still haven’t showed (shown?) up in my RSS reader.

So if you’re on Flickr constantly (like me! like me!) and you have felt like something’s not lining up right, that your contacts’ photos are out of order and appearing late, well, it’s true.

I’m gonna go take some Waitmate. I’ll see you later.

Okay, so if you don’t already know and love lolcats then you can stop reading here as this won’t make any sense.

My “friend” Hackett decided that lolcats were insufficient and went on, for some unknown reason, to create lolkevins. I kid you not.

Example, though it may kill me:

Yeah.

You can see the whole lot of ’em here.

So far no one has seen fit to proceed further with the meme, which is fine by me. I realize that I’m opening a very tiny floodgate here by intentionally exposing his madness to the greater populace, but … I suppose in some twisted way it deserves to be seen.

I should mention that my other “friend” Mia did see fit to copy the “NOT YOURS” meme as seen here.

Thanks, guys. I love you a lot. The kind of love where I fantasize about harming you.

So you know what they say. Of course you do. The first step to eating less, or eating properly, or whatever is Portion Control. If you don’t put it in front of yourself you won’t eat it.

I know this is true. I know this is true because I can’t tell you how many times recently I have gotten towards the end of the meal, slid my plate to the side to get at something, and then I kind of forget I had food left on my plate. I mean, if it’s not directly in front of me I really do forget to eat it.

Which is silly.

But SCIENCE.
